AVA Capital Plc, an integrated financial services group, is set to be admitted to the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) through a Listing by Introduction on July 31, 2026, marking a significant milestone in its corporate evolution as it transitions into the public market, New Telegraph reports.
The company said the listing is not intended to raise fresh capital, as no new shares will be issued. Rather, the move is aimed at enhancing the Group's market visibility, strengthening corporate governance and transparency, and deepening engagement with shareholders and the wider investment community.
AVA Capital operates an integrated financial services platform through its subsidiaries - AVA Global Asset Managers, AVA Securities and AVA Trustees - providing investment banking, asset management, securities trading and trusteeship services. The Group structured transactions worth more than N500 billion during the 2025/2026 financial year.
The company already meets the Nigerian Exchange's free-float requirement, with approximately 20 per cent of its issued shares held by investors outside the controlling shareholder structure.
Speaking on the listing, Olukayode Fadahunsi, Managing Director of AVA Capital Plc, described the admission as a natural progression in the company's growth journey. 'The public markets expect us to be open, disciplined and responsible. We see these as strengths that will make our institution stronger over time,' he added.
